Lorenzo is an Italian award-winning composer and passionate music storyteller for film and TV. As a creative partner, he works alongside filmmakers and studios to craft original scores for the screen. Lorenzo has contributed his sonic touch to a diverse range of visual media, with a particular focus on multi-episodic series and original IPs. His work has been featured on major broadcasters, including Italy’s RAI and Canada’s CBC.
Lorenzo's sound often experiments with synthesis and sampling techniques, blending modern production practices with the performances of live musicians. He values collaboration at the core of his creative process and regularly works with professional session musicians and fellow artists to bring his musical visions to life. Recent collaborations include recording sessions with UK-based Up North Session Orchestra and the Northern Film Orchestra.
Recent highlights from Lorenzo’s portfolio include the LGBTQ+ coming of age film Just A Friend (2023)—Best Original Canadian Film at Hollywood North Film Awards—produced by award-winning studio Deelen with Trouble and recently broadcasted on CBC. He also scored the BAFTA-qualifying stop-motion film Potter’s Mirror (2024) by Katherine O'Connor, and a trio of multi award-winning animated shorts—Papercut (2022), iCare (2022), and Bouya (2022)—produced at Escape Studios. Lorenzo’s work on Papercut and Bouya earned him two Best Original Score awards at the Hollywood Gold Awards.
Lorenzo is a skilful music programmer with a passion for custom sampling and musical sound design. In addition to his extensive work as a composer, he leads music programming at LA-based sampling company Triumph Audio. Here, he directs major developments of cinematic sample libraries for composers and collaborates closely with Hollywood composer Kevin Manthei.

In 2024, Lorenzo began collaborating with Norway’s leading music management company, Made Management, home to a roster of producers, songwriters, and internationally acclaimed artists, including global electro-pop icons Aurora and Sigrid. Through this partnership, Lorenzo continues to expand his creative reach, bridging the worlds of film scoring and contemporary music production.
Originally from Florence, Italy, Lorenzo’s career began with a BA (Hons) degree in Film Music from one of the UK's top music universities Leeds Conservatoire, where he was awarded the prestigious Nicholas Dodd Prize for Film Music. He frequently returns to the Conservatoire as a guest university lecturer and delivers masterclasses to current Film Music students. Most recently, he completed a Postgraduate course in International Music Business at the University of Chichester.
When he is not working, Lorenzo remains an active member of the composers' community, frequently attending festivals and conferences to connect with fellow creatives.
